Workshop 2

Spatial architecture and material heritage: from assessment to digitization and valuation

There are various softwares widely used by architects and urban planners which allow the realization of sketches and plans, the digitization and construction of 3D models of buildings. The objective of this specialized workshop is to learn how to use such techniques through theoretical and thematic presentations, through case studies, followed by a practical application through the design of architectural projects by combining the graphic dimension of 2D objects and 3D modeling. The mastery of these technical tools (photography, drones, photorealism) is particularly useful for any activity related to research projects in archaeology and architecture, the preservation of material heritage and its enhancement through the production of digital duplicates of sites enriched with metadata. Practical exercises will be organized locally under the supervision of the trainers.
